This video shows how to light the Leticia scene using an assortment of lights and different techniques. The greatest ability a artist or director has is the ability to control the viewers eyes. Lighting can make or break a scene. If it is too dark, nobody can see anything. And, unless your using the shadow to your advantage to scare the viewer with the unknown, light is going to help.

Dark Shepard here. As you can hear from the fan, I kind of have actually a dual
PC setup so I can actually render and it won't interfere with the actual camera.
So I actually had to just go through and change the textures on this guy because
they didn't work. He was all super bright and I didn't understand why. Anyway, so
this is the actual lighting work that we're gonna be doing. So we already have
our cameras in place. I'm not gonna put any other props in at this moment, but
we're just gonna look at all of our demo cameras we see from Undershot. See, we
have shadows here. We're not actually seeing anything. So we're gonna put in
lights in that one and we have, you know, from the front you can kind of see some
stuff. POV. There's some light there, but we can make it better. From the bed, all
our model, she's actually not even, you know, touching the floor. Hmm, that may
look weird, but I'm not worried about it at the moment. And then from the rear, this one is
actually lit probably almost correctly, even though you wouldn't be able to see
anything in here. So we're gonna fix all that. So we're gonna go back to our perspective
view. We're gonna start adding lights. So how we do this is, I'm gonna go back to
texture shaded for a moment. I'm going to, you can either do it, if you have it up
