This video is another kind of boring one where I model our plot object. A pen is going to be the central focus of our story for this challenge. I just show a simplistic way to model the pen. We are not really going into the story until the subsequent videos. I did put music in this one though so it should not be that mind numbing. Unless you are new to modeling objects and like learning things, then have fun!

Derek Shepherd here and we're at the next stage of our little story here that we're
telling. Although we haven't started the story yet. This is our object. So this is
going to be the focal point of this particular story that I'm kind of
writing. I already kind of know what this pen is and what its significance is to
the story. You'll learn that in time. But how to make this pen? I did not get this
from Blender Kit. I actually modeled this. It kind of looks like this pen which is
a Zebra F402. It's not as detailed but it's close enough for what our
purposes are. How to make this is not super complicated. You just kind of start
with a... we're gonna grab everything and hide it. And just start with a cylinder.
And expand it out on the Y. Other Y. Scale it back. It's actually better to kind of
model it in a larger size and shrink it down from what I found. Scale it up on the Y a bit more.
It's about the kind of length you know that it's gonna be looking like a
regular pen. This still looks a little... this looks a little long. Something like that.
I'm gonna scale it up. Now how we make the things that I made. First we're gonna do
loop cuts. So go into shape. Slice it in half. I need to put on the screencast
keys. That never shows up. Okay so now we got a loop cut. Edit mode. I'm gonna put two up here.
