This video is one that I kind of have been dreading a little bit because I knew it would shove me into a difficult to learn situation. I show how to take a free model downloaded from smutba.se, 1) bring it into Blender for edits, 2) take it to DazStudio, 3) rig parts of it, 4) weight map it prpperly, and finally use it for rendering. I've been wanting to learn how to do this for a while and finally did. I hope you learn something from this. I know I did.

Dark Shepard here. This is what I learned this last week. One, don't forget to turn on the

fucking microphone when you record this. This is the second round. But this is all

about moving this model from SmutBase that we got for free from there to DAS to

make it a usable model. I've already done the video on how like posing with

Letitia and using this model. So I'm going to show you how to do this. From SmutBase

you basically go down here and click on download. It'll take you to the download page.

You download the model. Then you come into Blender and we open the file. Now

we're left with this. This particular setup will have this in it. So get rid of

the background and what we have to do is we have to bring in a male model for

reference. So what I found is that to get this to work in DAS they have to be in

the same pose as the base model. We can either pose the base model in this T

position or we can just pose him in the A position which is what the DAS models

start at. So I use DAS to Blender the bridge. You can use export as OBJ. So if

we were to do this in DAS we'd actually come into here, grab a Genesis A basic

male and this is Genesis A model. And we would just export this model as an OBJ.

And yeah export it and then import it. We don't need the materials or this
